Frequently Asked Questions

About Offset Printing - Quality & Professional

What is the minimum run for offset printing?
Because of plate and calibration costs, offset is generally economical from 1.000 units upwards. For jobs below 1.000 units we recommend our HP Indigo 12000 digital line; between 1.000 and 3.000 is a transition zone where we review the job and determine the most suitable method.
What is the difference between offset and digital printing?
Offset delivers efficient high-volume production from plates and strong Pantone and spot colour consistency. Digital printing is fast and flexible for short runs and personalized variable-data jobs. Printer Ofset has both technologies and routes your job to the right line.
Which sizes and paper weights do you print offset?
We produce up to B1 format (70×100 cm sheets), across a wide paper range including coated, woodfree, kraft and board, in a typical 70–350 g/m² weight range. Higher weights are possible for board and packaging work.
How do you maintain colour consistency in offset printing?
We use the Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106's automatic colour control, densitometer measurement and physically approved proofs against the Pantone guide. Our ISO 9001:2015 processes target colour consistency across all batches of the same job.
Do you provide finishing (lamination, varnish, embossing)?
Yes. We offer matte and gloss lamination, UV and varnish, embossing, foil, die-cutting (Bobst) and bindery operations turnkey in the same plant.
Do you accept individual (retail) orders?
No. Printer Ofset works B2B only: we provide contract and turnkey production for agencies, corporates, print houses and distributors.
How quickly does a quote arrive?
Once you share the job details (size, paper and weight, quantity, finishing) we send an itemised quote within 24 hours; there are no surprise line items.
