Bornova Kraft Bag Production Facility Opens

Printer Ofset added a new Kraft Bag Production Facility to its Bornova Çamdibi production complex in 2020. Designed to meet growing sustainable packaging demand in retail + e-commerce + corporate promotion segments, the facility has daily capacity of 50,000+ bags.

Active bag categories produced:

• Kraft bags — 100-200 gsm, twisted / rope / cotton / button handle options
• American bristol bags — 250-300 gsm for premium segment
• Chrome cardboard bags — for hot-stamp + glossy finishing
• Custom die-cut bags — die-cut windows, ergonomic handles, shaped outer edges

The facility's defining advantage is its parallel automation lines — 50,000+ daily capacity comes from these automated handle-attachment machines. Special handle combinations (hand-tied knots, dual-color rope, metal buttons) requiring manual labor are produced in a separate line.
